Our 50th Class Reunion in July 2019, we raised $3,500.00 for the Jefferson High School Class of 1969 Memorial Scholarship.
- Monies raised were from a combination of classmate donations, classmate business donations, silent auction and passing the glass jar for cash donations the night of the reunion.
- This Memorial Scholarship and any future scholarships will be dedicated to the memory of our classmates who are no longer with us as a Memorial Scholarship.
So what did we do with this money?
- We met with the Red Rocks Community College Foundation who matched our $3,500 so we could grant not 1 but 2 scholarships. Plus RRCC Foundation finds scholarship money for a second year of college for these students to get an Associate Degree.
- Our Reunion Committee wanted to give a student not just a semester or a year of college but the real chance of getting as Associate's Degree. Wow!
- Now and every year moving forward we will be asking for our Class of 1969 for donations for future Jefferson High School Class of 1969 Memorial Scholarships. We fully understand in current times the financial and medical challenges that we all are facing. If you are able to donate:

Jefferson High School Memorial Scholarship
Here’s an opportunity for any JHS Alum to contribute to a JHS Memorial Scholarship. This was started by the Class of 1969 and is in conjunction with the Red Rocks Community College Foundation (RRCCF). The goal is to provide an opportunity every year for a JHS Graduating Senior to pursue and earn an Associate's Degree from Red Rocks Community College (RRCC). We strive to raise $2,000 each year, which is matched by the RRCCF for the first year’s Tuition and Fees at RRCC. Then, the RRCCF FUNDS THE SECOND YEAR, creating a path for the student to earn an Associate’s Degree!
